In 2012, I was involved in no less than 8 transactions with Chris Conner and Chris Conner Construction. His integrity, workmanship, and work ethic are outstanding. He has the ability to provide the market with great value and a high quality product. When presented with many options on remodeling of creating a home from the ground up he has shown to always provide the best options and at very competitive prices.
Please note that my team and I completed over 175 transactions in 2012, my personal production was in the top 10 agents in the Treasure Valley, this is only meant to qualify these comments.
On a more personal note, my wife and I are considering selling our current home and purchasing a lot; Chris will be our go to person/ company to build our home.
Chris Conner of Chris Conner Construction was the general contractor for the major remodel of our condo in the Chase Bank building in downtown Boise. I think this was probably Chris’ first experience in doing residential construction on the 8th floor of a commercial building. My wife and I found Chris to be very good to work with, as well as, very conscientious of quality and workmanship. He established a preliminary budget and then finalized the numbers prior to construction. It’s kind of unheard of that he came in a little under budget and had it not been for us making some changes, he would have finished ahead of schedule.
Should you have any questions, I would be happy to visit with you about his work.
Over the past 15 years I have worked with Chris Conner on about a half dozen homes. Along with providing some of the highest quality workmanship in the Treasure Valley, I have always found Chris to be very conscientious of the owners needs. Chris Conner Construction would be on my list when clients are looking for a contractor to construct a new home.

When thinking about composing this thank you, there were many things we wanted to thank you for. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to oversee our remodel. Your attention to detail and willingness to go to battle with sub’s and suppliers to make sure everything was just as we imagined was remarkable. You did an amazing job, we love our home and couldn’t have done it without you. We really enjoyed getting to know you and hope we keep in touch. We would love to get together with you and your lovely bride socially in the future.
Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts,
Chris and Nick
P.S. We loved Clay. You have done a great job as a parent.
After interviewing multiple custom home builders in the Treasure Valley in the winter of 2012, we ultimately selected Chris Conner to build our dream home. One of the many reasons we selected Chris was due the fact we would begin the construction process while living overseas. We wanted a builder who would be at the construction site regularly, personally involved as opposed to utilizing superintendents, and provide us with the necessary transparency through the construction process.
Construction of our home began in April of 2013. Since we were living overseas when construction started, Chris was extremely flexible to accommodate our time zone differences. We utilized emails, skype video calls, as well as virtual “walk throughs” using a smart phone so we could see real time how decisions we made remotely translated on site. We have built multiple homes over the years and our experience working with Chris through the process stands at the top. Chris holds himself and all of his sub-contractors to a very high standard. If workmanship was not of the standard for his personal home, it would never be accepted for our home. One of the many qualities that set Chris apart for us during the process was the due diligence he personally took in not only selecting the best sub contractors but that they all understood the scope of work and high standards he expected from them. Chris never assumed something would be done correctly and left nothing to chance through over communicating.
Our home was completed in September of 2013 and we could not be more pleased. Building a custom home can be stressful but Chris’ many years of experience in the industry, attention to every detail, and integrity through the process made it a wonderful experience for us. We whole heartedly recommend Chris Conner and welcome you to give us a call if you might have any questions we can help answer.

We have had the pleasure of having Chris Conner build two homes for us and if we were to ever build another we would again want to work with him. Chris is committed to working closely with his clients to ensure not only a well-constructed house, but also to create a home that meets his clients’ wishes, needs and budget. As far as we are concerned, Chris is simply the best!

A number of years ago we purchased a view lot in Quail Ridge area of Boise. The lot had a spectacular view and we really wanted to take full advantage of it with the right architecture, design and build. We developed the house design with a local architect and started looking for a builder. The lot however presented some challenges in the form of height restriction, existing driveway curb cuts as well as the construction footprint and positioning on the lot itself. We met with three well respected builders including Chris. Each builder was well known in the area and two had built other houses in the Quail Ridge development. Two of the builders began to "educate" us on why we couldn't do what we wanted to do for various reasons and suggested that we would be better off doing it their way. Chris, on the other hand, looked at what we wanted to do and sat down to figure out how to accomplish it. His willingness to listen, explore possibilities, combined with his extensive building knowledge allowed us to get the home design we had envisioned. Some of the adjustments we had to make to take advantage of the lots potential actually ended up being improvements to the original design and make our home even more special.
The quality of construction, the professional and courteous approach by Chris and his crew as well as the subcontractors he chose made the whole experience one I would do again without hesitation. We've lived in our home seventeen happy years and its as sound as the day it was completed. We have had people stop (strangers) who want to walk through or find out who the builder was on many occasions. We always send them Chris's way.
